Galioto was born and raised in the Twin Cities' southwest suburbs. She was an intern at the Star Tribune in 2018 after she graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in political science. She reported as an intern for the Chicago Tribune and POLITICO before returning to her hometown paper full-time. She enjoys traveling, good music, good restaurants and her good dog, Tucker.
